Curious to know more, wondering if my approach might be a good fit for you? Book a FREE 15-minute conversation below.
During our first session together, we spend extra time (90 minutes) to get to know one another a little, to understand what’s most important to you, the focus of our work together. What you’re most concerned about, have difficulty with and what strengths you have that we can build upon.
We will explore practices that are appropriate, helpful and connected to your focus or goals. From there, you’ll be provided an individualized program to take home.
It’s important you have time to practice the home program, so we generally meet again in another week or two, for follow-up.
Following an initial session, we meet again for 60 minutes (usually in 1 to 2 weeks) to review your home program, how it went and again what your focus is. What’s most important to you going forward. We’ll use the time for discussion and practices to best support this focus.
When: Tuesdays, March 5 - 26th 12:10pm - 1pm EST // 10:10am - 11am MST // 5:10pm - 6pm GMT
What: Soft, slow movement classes to gain mobility, strength and confidence.
This IS about cultivating confidence and ease in your body and movement.
Moving slowly with guidance, and an invitation to explore rather than "must do" language, you'll gain agency in choosing what is "just right for you".
This IS about mobility, function and strength.
Reconnect, restore and replenish what your body needs, what is most supportive for you.
This IS about how you can influence your physiology and your nervous system.
Which play a part in your response to stress, persistent or chronic pain, anxiety, depression, difficulty with sleep.
This IS about moving beyond the fear of movement.
Safely guiding you and getting you back to doing what you love most.
This IS about bringing curiosity, kindness and compassion to your self and your body.
Support when you are fatigued, or stressed, perhaps moving anxious energy out or bringing some grounded and sustainable energy in, lightness or ease when feeling the weight of the world dragging you down.
If you live with chronic or persistent pain, learn to feel safe moving. Explore the notion of safety in your body, if you've experienced trauma. Neither are an easy task, but worthwhile ones.
You can pay a $1/class, $20/class or an amount in-between.
I’d love your commitment to come along for 4 weeks. Try it out.
Come as you are. This might be the Breath of Fresh Air that you're looking for.
Are you looking to ease into some gentle movement with others in a community that's welcoming and accessible? A safe place to begin, to do what feels right for you, to belong?
Too often people are expected to do what everyone else is doing. Here we'll take the approach where you are guided to explore, build awareness, and tune into the wisdom of your body and the signals it provides that let you know what is right, accessible, and appropriate for you. Listening in this way can help you to discern what a "yes" might be or what a "no" feels like to you. Time, space, and wide permission are provided for you to explore your own unique experience.
This class also offers principles (and hope) to help guide people who have a fear of movement, perhaps due to ongoing persistent or chronic pain, or other life circumstances from illness or injury.
We'll explore gentle movement and breath practices along with topics requested by participants. Time will be provided for self-reflection and sharing within the group. Participants can feel free to attend with cameras on or off throughout the session.
The cost is $80.00 per 4-week session ($20 each class) payable at the time of booking. Noted below are the planned dates, with the first series starting October 3rd, 2023.
Planned Sessions:
Oct 3, 10, 17, 24
Nov 7, 14, 21 & 28

Refunds: You can cancel after the first class with a refund less the cost of the initial class ($60 refund) if you feel this isn't right for you. It's important to me that you find this is a good fit. Canceling later in the series is non-refundable.

You might notice changes in your self, as the seasons change. You might be someone who would like to slow down and cozy up, as the temperatures cool, the nights get longer. Or you might notice something completely different. These classes offer a space to explore what it is you notice about yourself. Your body, breath, patterns of tension or movement and how these might carry over into life.
