A Breath of Fresh Air - Come as You Are

This isn’t your sweaty, back-bending, yoga pants trending, type of yoga.

An accessible and affordable four-week online series, where you are invited to Come as You Are.

When: Tuesdays, March 5 - 26th 12:10pm - 1pm EST // 10:10am - 11am MST // 5:10pm - 6pm GMT

What: Soft, slow movement classes to gain mobility, strength and confidence.

This IS about cultivating confidence and ease in your body and movement.

Moving slowly with guidance, and an invitation to explore rather than "must do" language, you'll gain agency in choosing what is "just right for you".

This IS about mobility, function and strength.

Reconnect, restore and replenish what your body needs, what is most supportive for you.

This IS about how you can influence your physiology and your nervous system.

Which play a part in your response to stress, persistent or chronic pain, anxiety, depression, difficulty with sleep.

This IS about moving beyond the fear of movement.

Safely guiding you and getting you back to doing what you love most.

This IS about bringing curiosity, kindness and compassion to your self and your body.

Support when you are fatigued, or stressed, perhaps moving anxious energy out or bringing some grounded and sustainable energy in, lightness or ease when feeling the weight of the world dragging you down.

  • It is about practicing in ease (not pain and strain), and carrying this ease through into your daily life.
  • It’s about coming to explore and be curious, get to know, feel and appreciate your body no matter your age, your size, or current state of health.
  • It’s not so much about stretching. I’m not against stretching, it’s just that one can stretch and stretch and nothing really changes. Have you maybe noticed that yourself?
  • It’s not about doing ab work (or what I might call, 'breath-holding' work) to train your core. Rather, it’s about learning to understand and experience how your core, or any of your muscles respond naturally to meet the demands of the task at hand, or the various demands throughout your day.

People who have practiced with me for a while, say they feel

stronger,

have more agency,

feel capable,

are connected to their own body and to a community of others.

If you live with chronic or persistent pain, learn to feel safe moving. Explore the notion of safety in your body, if you've experienced trauma. Neither are an easy task, but worthwhile ones.

These classes are accessible.

To make them affordable, a “pay what you can” offer.

You can pay a $1/class, $20/class or an amount in-between.

I’d love your commitment to come along for 4 weeks. Try it out.

Come as you are. This might be the Breath of Fresh Air that you're looking for.
